The invention of Assist. Prof. N. Ömer Saatcıoğlu, Istanbul Kültür University Faculty of Architecture Department of Architecture academician, titled “A Straw Wall System Resistant to External Factors”, which he developed after his invention named “A Masonry Wall System” within the framework of “Straw-Bale Building Design” development studies in accordance with Turkish conditions, was also registered internationally on behalf of our university.

Presenting her paper titled “CHALLENGES IN ACHIEVING GENDER EQUALITY IN ARCHITECTURE” orally at the conference, Prof. Dr. Dostoğlu also attended the EAAE Annual General Assembly.

Prof. Dr. Emel Birer, one of our academicians from Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) Department of Architecture of the Faculty of Architecture, attended the “EAAE 2022 TOWARDS A NEW EUROPEAN BAUHAUS Challenges in Design Education & Research” conference organized by EAAE (European Association for Architectural Education) in Madrid-Spain on August 31-September 4, 2022.

IKU Faculty of Architecture Department of Architecture students started the renovation process of Çobanisa Primary School in Isparta on 25 July 2022 with our academicians Res. Assist. Ufuk Küçükyazıcı and Res. Assist. Berkay Oskay. The renovation works carried out within the scope of the social responsibility project will continue for 15 days.
