“7th International Project and Construction Management” (IPCMC2022,) which is an international congress with wide participation in the field of Project and Construction Management, was held on October 20-22, hosted by Yıldız Technical University.  Assist. Prof.

As a part of the “ARC3020 Building Science II” and “MIM3020 Building Science II” courses given in the 2022-2023 Fall Semester in the Department of Architecture, masonry application training was held on Monday, October 17th in cooperation with YTONG. The questions posed by our students, who were involved in the controlled masonry application, were answered by YTONG officials.

Proceedings of the conference "ARCHITECTURAL EPISODES 02: NEW DIALOGUES IN ARCHITECTURAL EDUCATION AND PRACTICE" held on 24-25 March 2022, hosted by Istanbul Kültür University Faculty of Architecture, Department of Architecture has been published electronically. The editors of the proceedings are our Dean of the Faculty of Architecture Prof. Dr. Neslihan Dostoğlu, one of the academicians of the Department of Architecture, Prof. Dr. Emel Birer, Assist. Prof. Esin Hasgül, Res. Assist. Merve Aksoy Oral, Res. Assist. Dilara Gür and Assist. Prof. Nur Kızılyaprak from Marmara University.

Presented at the “ARCHITECTURAL EPISODES 02: NEW DIALOGUES IN ARCHITECTURAL EDUCATION AND PRACTICE” international symposium, held online on 24-25 March 2022 by Istanbul Kültür University Faculty of Architecture Department of Architecture;  Ayşegül Aktürk's “Architectural Dialogues through Living Buildings: Common Design Strategies and Messages for Public Sustainable Building Education”, Esin Hasgül, Şeyda Şen, H.

The project, which started at the end of the 2021-22 Spring Semester with the initiative of eight third year students of the Faculty of Architecture, Department of Architecture and proceeded with the support of the Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and the Head of the Architecture Department, was carried out between 25 July-6 August.

Under the internship protocol signed between Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) and Bakırköy Representation of the Chamber of Architects the works produced during the program after the workshops held between 18 July and 15 August 2022, were exhibited at TMMOB Chamber of Architects Bakırköy Representative Office until September 30, 2022. The projects of the workshop attended by Res. Assist. Ufuk Küçükyazıcı, Res. Assist. İdil Akkuzu, Res. Assist. Elif Çileli, Res. Assist. Merve Aksoy Oral, Res. Assist. Dilara Gür, Res. Assist. Berkay Oskay and Res. Assist.

Presentation of the improvement project of Isparta Sütçüler District Çobanisa Village Primary School, which was implemented as a social responsibility project by the IKU Faculty of Architecture Department of Architecture, between 25 July and 6 August 2022, the presentation of the certificates of appreciation and the opening of the exhibition about the work done were carried out in Akıngüç Auditorium and Art Center on Monday, 3 October 2022. The invention of Assist. Prof. N. Ömer Saatcıoğlu, Istanbul Kültür University Faculty of Architecture Department of Architecture academician, titled “A Straw Wall System Resistant to External Factors”, which he developed after his invention named “A Masonry Wall System” within the framework of “Straw-Bale Building Design” development studies in accordance with Turkish conditions, was also registered internationally on behalf of our university.
