PROF. DR. ESRA BOSTANCIOĞLU ATTENDED THE “7TH INTERNATIONAL PROJECT AND CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT” CONFERENCE WITH 3 PAPERS

Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Architecture Prof. Dr. Esra Bostancıoğlu attended the “7th International Project and Construction Management” conference held in Istanbul between 20-22 October 2022 with 3 papers she prepared with her graduate students. Prof. Dr.  Bostancıoğlu attended the conference with the 3 papers prepared by the graduate students of the Department of Architecture  Construction Management and Technology Program; the first being “The Importance of Value Engineering in the Construction Sector” by Bahar Özbaş, the second “Current Concepts Regarding Sustainability Practices and Architectural Education” by Merve Acar, and the third “Assessment of Occupational Health and Safety Problems of Construction Sector in the World and in Turkey” by Şükran Demirkol Kürkçüoğlu. 

Conference was presented through the sub categories of  “project management”, “organization, leadership and strategy”, “construction methods and technology”, “design management”, “economy and financial management”, “real estate development and management”, “digital technologies”, “disasters, risk and resilience”, “clean energy and sustainability”, “health and safety”, “law and dispute resolution”, “professional issues in education and practice”. Prof. Dr. Esra Bostancıoğlu also took part in the Scientific Committee of the conference.
