A technical trip to Balat was held on Monday, February 21, 2022, under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Ayhan Usta and Asst. Prof. Orkun Özüer, within the scope of the "Urban Culture Research Laboratory" subject in the Architectural Design V-VI-VII Project course given in the Department of Architecture.
Kubilay Ercelep and Serap Kaçmaz, students of the Department of Architecture at Istanbul Kültür University, and Sarp Özgen, a student of Istanbul Bilgi University, were guests of the "Open Architecture" program broadcast on Açık Radyo. In the program, how and why students got involved in Architecture for All, the working practices of the association and possible transformations for the coming years were discussed.
Department of Architecture (English Programme) Diploma Project group visited the selected project areas within the scope of cooperation with Fatih Municipality, together with our Prof. Dr. Dean Neslihan Dostoğlu and one of our academics, Assist. Prof. Emre Arslan, on Wednesday, February 16. Within the framework of the visit, a seminar was given to our students first. Afterwards, the project plots were examined in detail and the biennial in the restored Yedikule Fortress was visited.
