Within the scope of the symposium themed “Architectural Episodes 02: New Dialogues in Architectural Education and Practice” organized by IKU Faculty of Architecture Department of Architecture on 24-25 March 2022, a workshop titled “Muğla Transcripts in/on Disasters: Forest Fires 2021”was organized in cooperation with Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University and Istanbul Kültür University Department of Architecture students. Department of Architecture invited Master Architect & Engineer Ali Ekinci, a former member of the Central Board of the Chamber of Architects, on Thursday, March 31, to give a speech titled "Workplaces of Architects". At the conference held over Microsoft Teams, Ekinci conveyed the diversity of the work areas of the graduates of the Department of Architecture and the social importance of architecture to the students.

Esin Köymen, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of TMMOB Chamber of Architects, Istanbul Büyükkent Branch, presented a seminar in the "MIM/ARC8026 Urban Development and Professional Practice" courses- conducted by Prof. Dr. Evrim Özkan- on March 29. Our students-who are architect candidates- watched a satisfactory presentation on the principles, organization, works and activities of the  Istanbul Büyükkent Branch, starting with the establishment and organizational structure of the Chamber of Architects.
