In the "Energy Efficient Design and Life Cycle Costs" doctoral course led by Prof. Dr. Esra Bostancıoğlu who is Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Architecture & a faculty member of the Department of Architecture, Salem Ali Mohamed Mohamed from Hungary University of Pécs, Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, made a presentation titled "Model Simplification on Energy and Simulation Analysis for Residential Comfort Building Design".

Assist. Prof. Ceren Göğüş from Department of Architecture participated in the seminar within the scope of “An Imported Idea of Modernity: German Architects in Turkey 1923 to 1950” lecture in the master program of Prof. Dr. Raimund Fein and Dr. Evin Eris’s BTU Brandenburgische Technische Universitaet, World Heritage School on Tuesday, May 10, 2022. She made a presentation titled “Late Ottoman-German Relations and Two Resulting Architectural Projects” at the seminar.

PROF. DR. EVRİM ÖZKAN VISITED ISTANBUL PLANNING AGENCY FLORYA CAMPUS WITH STUDENTS

One of the academicians of the Department of Architecture, Prof. Dr. Evrim Özkan visited the IPA Florya Campus with the students as the invitation of the Istanbul Planning Agency (IPA) within the scope of #IPAders. During the trip held on Thursday, April 21, Prof. Dr. Özkan talked about the urban transformation processes carried out in shantytowns in the context of the Sarıgöl-Yenidoğan example, accompanied by the findings of the TÜBİTAK Project, which she is the executive of.
