Gülay Kanoğlu and Oktay Duran, İŞKUR Bahçelievler Business- Vocational Counsellors, were the guest to the course titled “MIM0216 Quality in the Building Production Process” lectured by Assist. Prof. Gamze Alptekin, given in the Turkish Program of the Department of Architecture. Our guests who gave seminars titled “İşkur-İş Başı Education Program” and “CV from Past to Today”, explained the points they should pay attention to the job application process and the support programs İŞKUR gives on finding a job, in a detailed way to our students who will be graduated soon.

The Head and the members of the Board of Management of the Chamber of Architects of Turkey Trakya Regional Representative Committee, visited Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) Faculty of Architecture, Department of Architecture on March 3 2022, Thursday. In the extremely productive meeting, the topics such as enabling the internship opportunities to the students of the Department of Architecture, the announcement of the events of the Department of Architecture to the local architects, the work protocol between the Chamber of Architects of Turkey and the department were discussed.

Within the scope of "MIM4020 Building Science III" given by Assoc Prof Erkan Avlar and "ARC4020 Buildings Science III" conducted by Assist. Prof. Gamze Alptekin in the Department of Architecture; On Wednesday, March 9, seminars on waterproofing in buildings were given by civil engineer (m.sc) Jozef Bonfil in English and Turkish.

Within the scope of the seminar, insulation material selection criteria, application principles and details were explained to the students.
