The article titled “Transformation of home environments in pandemic: the concept of 'life fits into room' in the new normal”, co-written by Department of Architecture academics Emel Birer and Esin Hasgül, and Architecture-Interior Architecture Diameter Program student Eren Can, Published in the February 2022 issue of Open House International, scanned in AHCI and SSCI.

The Department of Architecture organized a field trip to the Fatih region on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, within the scope of the "Climate Crisis Research and Awareness Center" in the "MIM0080-B Diploma Project Group B". After the seminar given to the students about the selected project area, the area was visited within the framework of the cooperation with Fatih Municipality.

In the home ownership of Istanbul Kültür University Faculty of Architecture Department of Architecture, two workshops will be organized within the collaboration of Istanbul Kültür University and Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University, between March 5-6, 2022 in Muğla and Istanbul, in order to present the results in the “ARCHITECTURAL EPISODES 02: NEW DIALOGUES IN ARCHITECTURAL EDUCATION AND PRACTICE” conference. The main theme of the workshop, the forest fires in 2021, will be discussed in a panel to be held before the workshop by various actors of the field.
