One of the academic staff of IKU Architecture Department, Res. Assist. A. Hilal Iavarone presented her academic work titled "Updates in Design Education: Examination of Web-Based Design Studio Models" at the FSMVU Educational Research Congress (FSMVU-EAK2021) held on March 27-28 with the theme of "Education and Human in the Digitalized World".

The Department of Architecture organized an e-seminar titled "What To Do From Today For A Successful Business Life" on Monday, March 22, 2021 within the scope of the "Quality in the Building Production Process" course, conducted by Assist. Prof. Gamze Alptekin. Civil Engineer and Instructor Cem Kafadar attended the event as a speaker. The seminar, which was also attended by people who are not members of IKU, focused on 20 basic factors that bring success in professional life. The event ended after the question and answer session.

Within the scope of the activities of Istanbul Kültür University Faculty of Architecture Department of Architecture, a panel titled “Rethinking Urbanization After Crisis: Discussions on Digitalization, Return to Rural and Waste Management” was held on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at 20:00. The panel was moderated by Prof. Dr. Evrim Özkan Töre, in which Assist. Prof. Melis Oğuz, Dr. Ayşegül Didem Özdemir and Dr. Ceyda Bakbaşa Bosson participated as speakers.
