An e-seminar titled "Kinetic Architecture, Post-Automation Reactive and Interactive Architecture" was held on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 within the scope of the "Space-Architectural Concepts" course in the Architecture Doctorate Program conducted under the coordination of one of our faculty members, Assoc. Prof. Yasemin Erkan Yazıcı. In the seminar attended by Kocaeli University faculty member Assoc. Prof. Neşe Çakıcı Alp as a speaker; the history, features, types and applications of kinetic architecture were explained. Our guest also conveyed his own academic work to the students.

The Architecture Department organized an e-seminar titled "Career Opportunities in Construction Companies for Architects" on Monday, April 5, 2021 within the scope of the "Quality in Building Production Process" course conducted by Assist. Prof. Gamze Alptekin. Barış İnşaat A.Ş. Construction Director Hakan Ketenci who participated in the event as a speaker conveyed the responsibilities that architects can undertake in construction companies to students. The seminar was completed after the question and answer session.

The concept of long or short term "nomadism" in urban and rural areas was discussed at the "Göçebe: Assembly Workshop" held on Saturday, April 3, 2021 under the leadership of Assist. Prof.  Asiye Akgün Gültekin, Assist. Prof. Esin Hasgül, Res. Assist. Merve Aksoy Oral and Res. Assist. Dilara Gür in the Department of Architecture. Following the general lecture in the workshop, related readings were given and the students were asked to share their general ideas on the subject before starting their studies.
