ASSOC. PROF. EMRAH TÜRKYILMAZ ATTENDED THE MEETINGS IN UZBEKISTAN AT THE INVITATION OF THE UZBEKISTAN MINISTRY OF CONSTRUCTION

Assoc. Prof. Emrah Türkyılmaz, a faculty member of IKU Architecture Department, attended the meetings and discussions on the development of higher education in the construction sector in Uzbekistan, with the invitation of the Uzbekistan Ministry of Construction, between March 8-15, 2021. 

"YENİ-DEN ARCHITECTURE"

An e-seminar titled "Yeni-den Architecture" was held on Thursday, April 15, 2021 within the scope of the "MIMY0420 Participatory Architecture and Planning" course conducted by Asst. Prof. Z. Ayşe Gökşin in the Department of Architecture, Urban Design Master Program. In the event, where Master Architect Ali Kemal Terlemez was the speaker, the development of participatory architecture in the world and Turkey and its current applications were conveyed to the students.

“ANTALYA-ORMANA VILLAGE ENTRANCE AND VILLAGE CENTRE REFURBISHMENT PROJECT”

On 14th April 2021, Architect Aylin Durmaz gave an e-seminar titled ‘Antalya-Ormana Village Entrance and Village Centre Refurbishment Project’ in ARC4040 Principles of Urban Design course coordinated by Assist. Prof. Dr. Z. Ayşe Gökşin and Res. Assist. İdil Akkuzu in the Department of Architecture. In the e-seminar, the urban design project developed for Antalya-Ormana by Plankoop. Mimarlık was shared and discussed under the headings of project development, design and implementation, focusing on the village entrance, the main square and the market area.
