Students of Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) Faculty of Architecture, Department of Architecture won 7 of the 21 awards given in the "Murat Artu and the Passion for Architecture Student Competition," which was organized for the second time this year.
The competition, themed "Design a Place for a Fictional Hero", is open to first-year students and aims to contribute to the adoption and love of the architectural profession by rewarding students' original ideas. The jury of the competition, consisting of respected academics and professionals, also included a representative who had received an award last year. This representative was IKU Department of Architecture student Mehmet Küçük.
In the competition, where Istanbul Kültür University Department of Architecture students also achieved great success last year, participants were additionally required to submit a short film along with their project this year.
