Assoc. Prof. Emrah Türkyılmaz, a faculty member of IKU Architecture Department, attended the meetings and discussions on the development of higher education in the construction sector in Uzbekistan, with the invitation of the Uzbekistan Ministry of Construction, between March 8-15, 2021. 

Türkyılmaz visited the Tashkent Institute of Architecture and Construction and met with the Rector, and on Thursday, March 11, 2020, a blended education trial was held with the participation of students of the Tashkent Architecture and Construction Institute, face-to-face, by students of the "ARC006 Architectural Design VI" course of the Istanbul Kültür University Department of Architecture. Türkyılmaz answered the questions of the students and academic staff of the Taşkent Architecture and Construction Institute about architecture and engineering education in Turkey.
