Our mission

The Department of Architecture aims to educate civilized, modern, liberal, inquisitive, creative, dynamic and entrepreneurial architects who are competent on national and international levels, can compete in any environment, produce solutions that are sensitive to the environment and historical values, integrate national identity with global values, look out for the interests of society, respect ethical values, are equipped with aesthetic values, follow and use the developing technology, by means of the vision of a modern, effective and exemplary institution in terms of education, teaching, research, transferring the acquired knowledge, skills and experiences to the society through practices. The Department of Architecture has also adopted the principle of contributing to the awareness and development of society and Turkey with scientific research, publications, applications and social responsibility projects. It is among the duties of the Department of Architecture to produce new information that will contribute to the creation of a qualified physical and social environment and to hand it down to future generations.

our vision is to educate architects who can use their professional knowledge, skills and experiences for the benefit of society at national and international level through technology and who are respectful of the historical and natural environment, ethical values, producing creative, contemporary and rational solutions within a student-oriented education model based on the integrity of education, application and research.
