Assist. Prof. Esin Hasgül, one of the academicians of Istanbul Kültür University Department of Architecture and a member of the Design Guides team, gave a presentation as an invited speaker at the online workshop titled “Spatial Collective Ideas and Designs During the Pandemic Process and Afterwards” organized by Kocaeli University Architecture Department on Sunday, December 20, 2020. In the workshop, which was held open to architecture students, it was aimed to create ideas and designs based on spatial fictions for during the pandemic process and afterwards. In this context, Assist. Prof. Hasgül's presentation titled "Physical and Social Transformation of Use Practices in Housing Space Before and After the Pandemic" before the workshop productions revealed the change in the housing space during the pandemic process. The changes in the use of balconies, terraces and gardens in the home environment and the analysis of specific approaches were discussed.
